| Sutton Tools is a leading global supplier of specialist cutting tools, distribute to industries such as automotive, aerospace, marine, transport, construction, surgical, manufacturing and agriculture. Sutton have a dedicated ‘Specials’ manufacturing and Tool regrinding facility situated within the main manufacturing base, along with a dedicated R&D cell for the testing and benchmarking of tools to confirm results prior to shipment to the customer. We use 3D CAD Cam software and simulation tools to quickly design & develop specialist geometries for each application. The Special Tools division design and produce cutting tools to suit the specific needs of the individual, working with exotic aerospace materials such as titanium alloys, carbon fibre composite structures, aircraft grade aluminium and stainless grade alloys. Sutton tools use state-of-art CNC tool grinding equipment, and manufacturing processes to produce specialised cutting tools. We use only the very best European grades of materials including Powder Metallurgy, HSS Cobalt and Ultra Fine grain carbide. Materials are complimented by the latest generation of thin film PVD coatings, providing many advantages in tool life, component surface finishes and the ability for the tools to operate in low or minimum coolant environments, making them more environmentally friendly. All tools are subject to stringent quality and performance checking and testing to ensure best results.
